Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website roofingthewoodlandstx.com (the "Site") operated by Altair Roofing The Woodlands TX ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), as well as any services provided by the Company. By accessing or using the Site, submitting a contact form, requesting an estimate, or engaging our roofing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site or our services.

Description of Services

Altair Roofing The Woodlands TX provides residential and commercial roofing services in The Woodlands, TX 77380 and surrounding areas, including but not limited to Spring, Conroe, Magnolia, Tomball, Oak Ridge North, Shenandoah, and the greater North Houston metropolitan area. Our services include roof inspection, roof repair, roof replacement, new roof installation, commercial roofing, storm damage repair, hail damage repair, wind damage repair, and related roofing services. We also offer financing options through third-party lending partners.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided by Altair Roofing The Woodlands TX are based on our assessment at the time of inspection and are subject to the following conditions:

  • Estimates are valid for 60 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. Additional work may be necessary if hidden damage or structural issues are discovered once roofing materials are removed. Any additional work and associated costs will be communicated to the customer for approval before proceeding.
  • Material prices are subject to change based on market conditions and supplier availability. If material prices change significantly between the estimate date and project start date, we will notify you and provide an updated estimate.
  • Estimates include the scope of work described in the estimate document. Any changes to the scope of work requested by the customer may result in adjusted pricing.

Service Agreements and Contracts

All roofing projects require a signed service agreement or contract before work begins. The service agreement will specify the scope of work, materials to be used, project timeline, total cost, payment terms, and warranty details. These Terms of Service supplement, but do not replace, the terms of any specific service agreement entered into between you and Altair Roofing The Woodlands TX.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in the individual service agreement for each project. General payment terms include:

  • Payment is due as specified in the service agreement, which may include a deposit upon signing and the balance upon completion of the project.
  • We accept payment by check, credit card, debit card, ACH transfer, and approved financing plans.
  • For insurance-funded projects, the customer is responsible for paying any applicable deductible and any amounts not covered by the insurance settlement.
  • Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Texas law.
  • If a customer disputes a charge, the customer should contact us at (346) 540-4717 or support@roofingthewoodlandstx.com to resolve the matter before initiating a chargeback or dispute with their financial institution.

Financing

Roof financing is provided through third-party lending partners and is subject to credit approval. Altair Roofing The Woodlands TX is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Financing terms, interest rates, and conditions are determined by the lending partner. By applying for financing through our Site or in person, you agree to the terms and conditions of the applicable lending partner. We encourage you to review all financing terms carefully before accepting a financing offer.

Warranties

Altair Roofing The Woodlands TX provides the following warranty coverage:

  • Workmanship Warranty: We warrant that all work performed will be free from defects in workmanship for the period specified in your service agreement. If a workmanship defect occurs during the warranty period, we will repair the defect at no additional cost to you.
  • Manufacturer Warranty: Roofing materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, the terms of which vary by product and manufacturer. As certified installers for GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed, we can offer enhanced manufacturer warranties on qualifying installations. Manufacturer warranties are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
  • Warranty Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by acts of nature (including storms, hail, wind, falling trees, or lightning), unauthorized modifications or repairs by others, failure to maintain the roof as recommended, or normal wear and tear.

Insurance Claims

Altair Roofing The Woodlands TX offers insurance claim assistance as a service to our customers. We document damage, prepare reports, and can meet with insurance adjusters on your behalf. However, we are not insurance adjusters, public adjusters, or attorneys, and we do not guarantee any specific insurance outcome. The final determination of coverage and payment amounts is made solely by your insurance company. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding the terms of your insurance policy.

Customer Responsibilities

When engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your property, roofing needs, and any known issues.
  • Ensure reasonable access to your property for inspections, material delivery, and project work.
  • Remove or secure personal property, vehicles, and outdoor items that may be affected by roofing work, unless otherwise arranged.
  • Notify us promptly of any concerns during the project so they can be addressed before completion.
  • Comply with all applicable HOA rules and architectural guidelines, including obtaining any necessary HOA approvals before the project begins.
  • Obtain any required permits or approvals, or authorize us to obtain them on your behalf.

Website Use

By using the Site, you agree to the following:

  • You will not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, its systems, or networks.
  • You will not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape content from the Site without our written permission.
  • You will provide accurate information when submitting forms or communicating through the Site.
  • You will not post or transmit any content that is defamatory, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration or litigation in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Montgomery County, Texas, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Texas.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific service agreement entered into for a roofing project, constitute the entire agreement between you and Altair Roofing The Woodlands TX with respect to the use of the Site and our services, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
